Are you filled by the Spirit? Do you want to be filled by the Spirit? Is it only for those Christians who do miraculous things? Being filled by the Holy Spirit is probably one of the most misunderstood activities in the church. Christians do not realize that God through Paul is commanding every Christian to be filled. Therefore, if they are not filled they are disobedient. Charlie Nason will preach from Ephesians 5:18 - 21 teaching how to do what we can to be filled by the Spirit of God.

<itunes:author>Charlie Nason</itunes:author><itunes:subtitle>Be Filled By the Spirit</itunes:subtitle><itunes:summary /><itunes:explicit>no</itunes:explicit><itunes:block>no</itunes:block><itunes:duration>00:49:43</itunes:duration><itunes:keywords />

Christ Resurrected, So What?

Many who are convinced that Jesus rose from the dead do not live differently then those who do not. Does the resurrection of Jesus change anything? If Jesus rose from the dead are there beliefs, attitudes, and actions that I ought to be doing? What difference does it make that Jesus rose from the dead and is standing in heaven with God the Father? This sermon will look at Paul's writings to determine what Paul said about the resurrection and how it ought to change our thinking, attitudes, and actions. This sermon by Charlie Nason covers various passages connected to the resurrection of Christ Jesus.

<itunes:author>Charlie Nason</itunes:author><itunes:subtitle>Christ Resurrected, So What?</itunes:subtitle><itunes:summary /><itunes:explicit>no</itunes:explicit><itunes:block>no</itunes:block><itunes:duration>00:39:11</itunes:duration><itunes:keywords />

Day of Atonement and the Resurrection of Christ

Although the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ is during the time of the Passover, it is pictured in the practice of the Day of Atonement. Paul says we are to forgive in the same way God in Christ has forgiven us. With such clear teaching, why do we find it hard to forgive? Jesus says if someone sins against you that you ought to go to him and show him his fault with the attitude of forgiveness. The idea is to win the one who sinned against you. Why does free grace, unmerited forgiveness, grate against us so? Paul explains that there is an internal battle where our flesh wars against the working of the Holy Spirit. In short, we, in and of ourselves, do not want to. We would rather watch them grovel enough to earn any forgiveness we might extend to them. That attitude is un-Christian or worse demonic. We must learn as sinners to forgive other sinners who sin against us. Listen as Charlie Nason preaches from Galatians 5:16 - 23 as it relates to forgiveness.

<itunes:author>Charlie Nason</itunes:author><itunes:subtitle>Sinners Forgiving Sinners</itunes:subtitle><itunes:summary /><itunes:explicit>no</itunes:explicit><itunes:block>no</itunes:block><itunes:duration>00:55:08</itunes:duration><itunes:keywords />

Forgive as God Forgives

God's plan to forgive mankind includes too many thing that mere humans cannot do, how then do we forgive like God? We must learn how to forgive! We must forgive in the same way as the Father has forgiven us (Ephesians 4:32). What is the way the Father has forgiven us? We must study the process by which God has extended forgiveness to us if we want to forgive in the same way as God in Christ has forgiven us (Colossians 3:12 - 13). Do you fear God rightly? God through Solomon has given us specific instructions of our responsibilities in order to gain a proper understanding of the fear of the Lord. This week God demands that his people guard their spirit. He gives three areas to watch and guard. Guard your spirit or yourself and then guard your intimate relationships and guard the spirit of your community. God's people have not honored and loved God but because of his unchanging character and his declaration of love they are not consumed. They are not consumed because out of God's love he sends a messenger to prepare the way of the Lord who will come suddenly into his temple. The messenger is John the Baptist and the Lord who came into his temple is Jesus the Christ. This sermon by Charlie Nason is from 2 Peter 2:4 - 22.

<itunes:author>Charlie Nason</itunes:author><itunes:subtitle>False Teachers' Destination: The Lord Knows</itunes:subtitle><itunes:summary /><itunes:explicit>no</itunes:explicit><itunes:block>no</itunes:block><itunes:duration>00:42:36</itunes:duration><itunes:keywords />

False Teachers' Determination: Sensuality

False teachers determine to focus on the desires of the sensual flesh to distort the truth of the glory of Christ. Sensuality is related to sexual immorality but it is not sexual immorality. Sensuality is what undergirds sexual immorality. False teachers bait the senses of the flesh in order to incite the desires of the flesh. The senses are your sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch. A false teacher works to focus your thoughts on the physical world that you neglect the God behind his creation. This sermon will look at how this works. The sermon, by Charlie Nason, is from 2 Peter 2:3 - 4.

<itunes:author>Charlie Nason</itunes:author><itunes:subtitle>False Teachers' Determination: Sensuality</itunes:subtitle><itunes:summary /><itunes:explicit>no</itunes:explicit><itunes:block>no</itunes:block><itunes:duration>00:42:56</itunes:duration><itunes:keywords />

Our Blessed God Who Has Blessed Us

Our triune God has predestined, redeemed, and sealed us in Christ for salvation. He does this so that we will praise him for such a blessing and so that we might become objects by which others would praise him. Paul writes this hymn of praise in Ephesians 1:3-14. Listen as Charlie Nason explains what this means for us who would believe.

<itunes:author>Charlie Nason</itunes:author><itunes:subtitle>Our Blessed God Who Has Blessed Us</itunes:subtitle><itunes:summary /><itunes:explicit>no</itunes:explicit><itunes:block>no</itunes:block><itunes:duration>00:39:42</itunes:duration><itunes:keywords />
