Grace in Gifts

In Romans 12:3 - 8, Paul reminds the believer of the pride in the heart and the need for a mindset of humility. He teaches believers to not exalt themselves in their thinking, especially in the area of gifts. Believers are to think realistically about their gifts meaning according to a Biblical worldview. The church is an organic unity with a purposeful diversity. Each member of the church has been gifted to exercise their gift to the benefit of others in their influence (believer or non-believer). The gift is to be exercised according to the personal conviction of the gifted believer while he/she remains within the bounds of Scripture. The believer is to focus in the area of their giftedness and serve to the point of exhaustion. This sermon is by Charlie Nason.
