Jonah is a witness to the gospel - a reluctant and even obstinate witness.  However, God does a miraculous thing and Jonah cannot help but write it down.  God is the hero of this book and Jonah is an anti-hero.  Jonah is used by God as a sign to the divided Kingdom.  He represents both the northen and southern kingdom in their relationship to God.  God, through Jonah, is teaching the Jewish nation to obey his voice and submit to the covenant realities by adapting their hear to the heart of God.  This sermon is by Charlie Nason and is an overview of the book of Jonah.
