Where does our authority to speak truth as a church or even as a Christian come from.  Does it come from the writers of Scripture...Paul and Apostle?  The authority of the Christian (and so the Church) is the authority of God and Christ.  The authority is linked to the message in such a way that if the message is the message of Christ than the messenger has the authority of Christ for he gave the message.  The passage is 1 Timothy 1:1-2.  The sermon is by Charlie Nason.
